March Inspiration

So far, March has been a wonderful month weather-wise. The sun has come out of hiding and Spring is in the air! Music This month I've been particularly enjoying scrolling through some old favorites from my younger days. One playlist pulled up Tracy Chapman's Fast Car, and since then I have been playing it on repeat. There are a lot of covers, and I browsed through a few of them, but as I suspected, the original is still the best! Although it's starting to feel like Spring is finally on its way, most of this month Columbus has been covered in an endless white blanket of snow and ice. It was all very exciting at first, but after the novelty wore off I became reluctant to venture out into my garden or go for walks on the treacherous icy roads. Packaging Update

Since I first started SquidCat, Ink, it has been very important to me that it be an environmentally friendly brand. So from the get go I searched for paper and envelopes that were made of 100% recycled paper, and the protective clear sleeves I use to protect my products are compostable. 

Recently, I realized that somewhere I could improve was my packaging. I send most things via USPS, so I had been shipping in their free mail boxes. But, I'm wasn't sure whether or not these boxes were the most environmentally friendly option, so I went on a search to reinvent my packaging, and wanted to share my results below!
